Have you ever just walked into a barber shop for a hair-cut and walked out with your heart cut wide open?

Been there, done that (unfortunately, for too many times).

Well, if you're a guy like me living in the bay area with one of the following traits, I'm here to save:

- Despise uneccesarily royal treatments

- Not a penny pincher

- Sexually straight but sharp enough to spot a shitty haircut after getting one

First things first, let's get the disclosures out of the way.

The stylist and the owner of the salon mentioned herein are not aware of any comments made on this blog, as of today, and I am not financially rewarded for any endorsements.

Although remotely far from possible, you enter Focus and ask for Kenny at your own risk of any disatisfactions.

That said, after a bad judgement three weeks ago, I walked out of a barber shop with a lighter wallet, a four-letter-word at the tip of my tongue, and worse yet, a shitty haircut that put Ronaldo's 3-year-old ancient Chinese seaweed @ 2002 World Cup to shame.  (For those who can't dig, Google Image "Ronaldo 2002 World Cup Haircut")

Based on various recommendations via PTT (yeah, girlfriend's an avid reader) & Yelp I reckoned a green light, and after one delightful personal experience, I give this hairdresser a go:

Kenny

(408) 807-6138

Focus

43707 Boscell Rd.

Fremont CA 94538

I was in and out within 30 minutes, just about my maximum time frame for a trim (guy with short hair).  With layers, Kenny smoothed out my hair which was tragically chopped-evenly-off by my previous barber.

Before, the back of my head was awkwardly flat with a half-ass fade and my sideburns were unprofessionally shaved like a 7th grader in Taiwan during the late 90s.  Now, the back of my head has a natural curve and the sideburns are finally back in the game granted by Kenny's siccors.

Mind you my last haircut before Kenny's was only 3 weeks ago so there wasn't much room for his magic.  Regardless, at least now I walk out of my door with a smile on my face.  Thanks Ken.
